The APP Student Placement Program facilitates connections between APRN students seeking preceptorships with available preceptors at Parkland Health to assist in the learning and development of our future practitioners.
Our program looks to provide students from our participating schools with opportunities in the following areas:
• Family / Internal Medicine Hours (Primary Care)
• Acute Care Hours
• Women’s Health Hours (WHNP, FNP, PA, & AGPCNP students)
• Behavioral Health Hours (PMHNP & PA students)
• Specialty Care Hours (Medical & Surgical specialty care)

If you are a returning student to our platform needing to request additional semesters, you do not need to join again. You simply need to log into your profile and update which semester you are currently seeing placement. Additionally, preceptors may do the same with their profiles.Please note, PA student partnerships are coordinated through the program director and therefore they do not need to utilize this program.
